Hi y’all! I am Ian. I am the owner and lead videographer of Visual Culture Media LLC. While I’m a registered nurse by profession, my true passion lies in capturing the beauty of nature, people, and life’s most meaningful moments through film.

My journey with a camera began over twenty years ago, driven by a deep desire to tell stories through photography. I traveled the world, specializing in landscape and travel photography, pitching my work to various media outlets.

In 2016, after moving to South Carolina, I discovered my love for wedding filmmaking. The energy, emotions, and unique love stories drew me in, and transitioning to video became a natural evolution of my storytelling. I’ve never looked back.

When I’m not behind the camera or at the hospital, you’ll find me outdoors, mountain biking or kayaking through South Carolina’s amazing landscapes. Because of my commitment to both my craft and my nursing career, I take on only 1-2 weddings per month, ensuring each couple receives the time and creativity their wedding film deserves.
